Information Technology
The IT Services department supports its customers with IT issues relating to teaching, research and administration, as well as providing various services, through its service desk (servicedesk@unisg.ch). People associated with the university are provided free Internet access across Switzerland through Switch PWLAN. In addition, various software programs and special offers on hardware are available for employees’ private use.
To access the Internet, employees must connect with the HSG via Virtual Private Network (VPN) or eduroam.
FacultyWeb
FacultyWeb is the information platform for professors at the University of St.Gallen. Information and news specifically assembled for the faculty of the University of St.Gallen are published in the electronic "faculty handbook". Explore various topics to get up to speed on important administrative and organisational procedures and deadlines. This is also where you can find information about teaching and as well as your most important contacts.
FacultyWeb is just one part of the larger university Intranet that covers all internal HSG issues. FacultyWeb is available in English whilst the university Intranet is in German only.
Library
Our library specializes in scientific publications. It is open to the public and collects resources in busi-ness, law, social sciences and the humanities.
In addition to scientific documents and information resources for teaching, research and study, the HSG library also has a wide selection to interest all readers, including foreign-language and literary works, a fiction collection, audiobooks, and general-interest newspapers and magazines, as well as a small but impressive comic-book collection.
