The HSG Talents Guide is your central reference for everything related to HSG Talents. With a clear schedule, event overview and concise employer profiles, it helps you prepare for On- and Off-Campus Events as well as the Career Fair. QR codes take you directly to further career information from the participating companies.

 

 

HSG Talents 2027 – applications and event formats

HSG Talents will take place from 22 February to 5 March 2027, featuring the Career Fair on 3 March at Olma Messen St.Gallen. Applications for the events open on 2 February at 09:00.

Look forward to a cross-industry programme with a wide range of event formats designed to help you achieve your career goals. Alongside traditional company presentations and conversations, you can also expect interactive formats such as workshops, networking sessions, case studies and hands-on experiences.

During a culinary scavenger hunt through St.Gallen’s old town, you’ll work in a team with company representatives to solve exciting challenges. You’ll demonstrate how you approach problems, communicate and collaborate within a team. This format gives you the opportunity to showcase your strengths in practice, gain new insights and build valuable connections.

The final stop is a shared dinner with an open ending. The timing may vary depending on the companies and conversations, so please make sure to plan enough time for the evening.

Show your skills, learn from real challenges and connect creatively

Take part in a guided workshop where you model solutions to business challenges using LEGO bricks. Led by a certified facilitator, this session offers a hands-on opportunity to demonstrate creativity, teamwork and communication skills while engaging with a company in an interactive setting. The workshop concludes with a networking aperitif – offering you time to reflect, connect and exchange ideas in an informal atmosphere.

Absolutely. The HSG Talents are a great opportunity to explore companies and build your professional network. Many firms are open to students at all levels – including Bachelor’s and Assessment Year students.

Our career platform is the digital interface for students of the University of St.Gallen and for national and international companies. After registering for the first time, you’ll find all further information and tips on how to complete your profile directly within the platform.

How to use my.hsgcareer.ch effectively

You’ll find an overview of all event modules on our career platform my.hsgcareer.ch. There you can see which formats require an application and submit yours directly through the platform. Please make sure your profile is complete and set to public – otherwise your application cannot be considered.

Yes – all event modules such as Company Sessions, Interviews, LEGO Serious Play, Recruiting FoodTrail, Confect & Connect and the Company Dinner require a formal application in advance. Please check all details directly on my.hsgcareer.ch and in the event description of the module you’re interested in.

Make sure your profile on my.hsgcareer.ch is complete and set to public. Companies will receive a formatted overview of your profile. Please note: uploaded CVs are not automatically forwarded.

Companies make their selection based on the information in your profile on my.hsgcareer.ch. You will receive an acceptance or rejection by email no later than 72 hours before the event.

Places are limited and not allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Employers review all applications and decide who takes part according to their own criteria and based on your profile on our career platform. The HSG Talents team has no influence on these decisions.

A complete, visible and well-prepared profile can significantly improve your chances – e.g. CV, degree programme, transcript, skills, languages, interests and any relevant documents.

If you are unable to attend an event, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Please note that our general terms and conditions (T&C's), the No-Show policy, as well as registration and cancellation deadlines apply.

Make use of CSC services

There is no single dress code. We recommend business casual for Customised Sessions, Company Insights, interviews and the HSG Talents Career Fair. For networking and social activities, smart casual is appropriate.
