Join a hands-on session hosted by a single company directly on campus. Whether it’s a case study, a workshop, a speed interview, or a company presentation, you’ll gain insight into real business challenges and what it’s like to work in the industry. Each session ends with a networking aperitif – your chance to ask questions, build connections and leave a lasting impression.

Get to know a company through a short, focused presentation followed by a networking aperitif. This event module offers a fast and informal way to discover a company’s culture, values and entry paths – without the pressure of a traditional application process.

Take part in a guided workshop where you model solutions to business challenges using LEGO bricks. Led by a certified facilitator, this session offers a hands-on opportunity to demonstrate creativity, teamwork and communication skills while engaging with a company in an interactive setting. The workshop concludes with a networking aperitif – offering you time to reflect, connect and exchange ideas in an informal atmosphere.

Take part in a culinary scavenger hunt through the old town of St.Gallen – solving challenges in teams together with a company representative. At each stop, you’ll demonstrate how you approach problems, communicate under pressure and work as a team. This event module gives you the chance to stand out through action, not just conversation – all while discovering new perspectives and enjoying good food.

Team up with fellow students and company representatives to prepare dishes like sushi, burgers, or tapas in the Klubschule kitchen studio at St.Gallen station. Absolutely. The HSG Career Days are a great opportunity to explore companies and build your professional network. Many firms are open to students at all levels – including Bachelor’s and Assessment Year students.
my.hsgcareer.ch is the digital interface for students of the University of St.Gallen and for national and international companies. After registering for the first time, you’ll find all further information and tips on how to complete your profile directly within the platform.
You’ll find an overview of all event modules on our career platform my.hsgcareer.ch. There you can see which formats require an application and submit yours directly through the platform. Please make sure your profile is complete and set to public – otherwise your application cannot be considered.
Yes – all event modules such as Case Studies, Interviews, LEGO Serious Play, Recruiting FoodTrail, Confect & Connect and the Company Dinner require a formal application in advance. Please check all details directly on my.hsgcareer.ch and in the event description of the module you’re interested in.
Make sure your profile on my.hsgcareer.ch is complete and set to public. Companies will receive a formatted overview of your profile. Please note: uploaded CVs are not automatically forwarded.
Companies make their selection based on the information in your profile on my.hsgcareer.ch. You will receive an acceptance or rejection by email no later than 72 hours before the event.
Each company selects candidates based on its own criteria. The HSG Career Days team has no influence on the selection decisions. A complete, visible and well-prepared profile on my.hsgcareer.ch can increase your chances of being selected.
You may choose either English or German – depending on the language of the event module and the company you are applying for. In any case, your profile must be set to public to be considered.
If you are unable to attend an event, you must cancel at least 48 hours in advance. Please note that our general terms and conditions (T&C's), the No-Show policy, as well as registration and cancellation deadlines apply.
Research your preferred companies in advance and prepare thoughtful questions. We also offer guidance on applications, interviews and career planning.
There’s no universal dress code, but we recommend business attire for Case Studies, Company Insights and Interviews. For social events, smart casual is appropriate.
